An international consortium of researchers has overcome an important barrier to the generation of single photons using a tiny, chip-scale device constructed from the most widely used material underpinning modern electronics: silicon.
William G. Bradley, Jr., MD, PhD, FACR, chairman of the Department of Radiology, was awarded the ACR Gold Medal and Honorary Fellowship, the highest honor of the American College of Radiology on April 22, during the ACR annual meeting and Chapter Leadership Conference held in Washington, D.C.
