University of California San Diego Assistant Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics Ethan Nadler has launched a new program that shows high school students how to combine the power of data science with the wonders of the universe. The eight-week course, called “AstroReach SD: Dark Matter & Python,” invited computer science students from Preuss School UC San Diego to learn about the nature of the universe and dark matter, while also gaining experience coding for scientific research.
