A group of robotics experts got together at the University of California San Diego to talk about the many ways intelligence could be embodied to interact with the real world.

The community gathered recently for the 31st annual Luau and Legends of Surfing Invitational to raise funds for research at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health. With 16 surf teams, the invitational was filled with energy and camaraderie. The event has raised $12 million for cancer research since it was established.
This summer, nearly 200 incoming engineering and computer science students at UC San Diego got a head start on their degrees thanks to two programs that empower students to succeed as undergraduates in these challenging majors, while also learning to make the most of the college experience.
