UC San Diego Alumni Celebrate Golden Key Ceremony

UC San Diego recently celebrated its Golden Key Ceremony, honoring past UC San Diego Alumni board leaders whose vision, service and philanthropy helped make the Triton Alumni and Welcome Center a reality.  Alumni board members traveled both across the country and internationally to return to campus and be part of this special acknowledgement, which celebrated alumni volunteers whose leadership has strengthened the community across generations. Outgoing Alumni Board President Melody Gonzales ’02 was also recognized and thanked for her service. Following the ceremony, those in attendance were invited to take a hard hat tour of the new center, which will celebrate its grand opening Nov. 5-8, 2026.
