Pradeep K. Khosla, chancellor of the University of California San Diego, was honored recently by the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Foundation for his partnership and support of the arts in San Diego Unified School District.
On Saturday, March 12, Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla attended “Bhangin’ It: A Bangin’ New Musical” at the La Jolla Playhouse. The show features performances and contributions from numerous connections to the UC San Diego campus as well as its larger community.
A few steps away from the delicate pink and white blooms of the Japanese cherry trees in Washington D.C, a striking collection of 120 bright orange statues of women, including the statues of two UC San Diego scientists, are currently on exhibit in the National Mall.
