U.S. News and World Report Again Ranks UC San Diego One of Nation’s Top 10 Best Public Universities

The University of California, San Diego is once again ranked one of the top 10 public universities in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. UC San Diego is ranked 9th best public university and 39th best university in the 2014 Best Colleges guidebook’s national college rankings that included 281 public, private and for-profit institutions.

UC San Diego Ranked 14th Best University in World by Shanghai Jiao Tong University

The University of California, San Diego is ranked the 14th best university in the world, up from 15th place last year, and its life sciences and engineering programs are ranked 7th and 13th respectively, according to the 2013 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).
