On Feb. 9, bestselling novelist and activist Cory Doctorow will be back on the UC San Diego campus for a lecture at the Qualcomm Institute on the Earth's finite resources as reflected in his 2017 novel, WALKAWAY.

The University of California San Diego’s 22nd Annual Lytle Scholarship Concert will feature a unique solo improvisation set from visionary musicians Cecil Lytle, Kei Akagi, Mike Wofford and Tobin Chodos, capped off by a show-stopping finale that merges the talents of all four performers. The campus and local community are invited to the concert, entitled “Jazz Piano Summit,” on Sunday, Jan. 28. All proceeds will benefit undergraduate scholarships at UC San Diego.

The 2017-18 Holocaust Living History Workshops continue this January with six profound lectures focusing on the roles of memory and justice in the process of renewal following the persecution of countless individuals during the Holocaust.
