This fall, ArtPower enters its 15th anniversary season at UC San Diego. The dynamic music, dance and theater series, launched in 2003, has continued to energize the cultural and artistic experiences of the university community.
Multidisciplinary issues need multidisciplinary solutions. That's biology major and visual arts minor Anika Ullah's mantra. Ullah believes that when put together, visual media, science and community engagement can serve as powerful tools for gaining insight into current health-related issues, shaping scientific study design and increasing public agency-and she's dedicated her undergraduate career to three local, binational and global projects that accomplish that aim.

On Sunday, Jan. 29, UC San Diego will host the 21st annual Lytle Scholarship Concert, featuring the UC San Diego Gospel Choir with special guests Archie Robinson and New Birth Praise. All proceeds from the event, titled “Yet Still I Rise,” will support undergraduate scholarships.
