UC San Diego honors four remarkable individuals as recipients of the 2023 Revelle Medal, which recognizes retired or emeriti faculty members for sustained, distinguished and extraordinary service to the university.
The David and Lucile Packard Foundation has named Lisa Poulikakos, an assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at UC San Diego, as a 2023 Packard Fellow for Science and Engineering. Poulikakos develops novel nanomaterials to address key challenges in imaging science.
University of California San Diego cancer biologist Tatiana Hurtado de Mendoza has been named the recipient of the 2023 Claugus Award for Medical Research. The award was established in 2021 by the Foundation For A Better World.
