Former lecturer Peter Galderisi, and his wife, Holly Gottschalk Galderisi, have committed to providing support to establish the Galderisi-Gottschalk Political Science Internship Endowment and the Gottschalk-Galderisi Women’s Athletic Endowment at UC San Diego.

Since it was established nearly three decades ago, UC San Diego’s RIMAC Arena has been home to countless athletic competitions, graduations, concerts and other events that are imprinted on the memories of thousands of UC San Diego alumni, students, friends and visitors.
UC San Diego’s esports program often leads the way. In 2022, after two years of constraints imposed by the COVID-19 global pandemic, it plans to resume in-person activities, with two major events in the works.
