The Wagner New Play Festival will return to UC San Diego from May 8 to June 10, 2023, showcasing seven new plays written by MFA playwrights in UC San Diego’s Department of Theatre and Dance.
A special celebration was held on Saturday, April 29 to inaugurate the Stuart Collection's newest addition, called KAHNOP · TO TELL A STORY. The event included a chance for campus members to make an art rubbing, hear from Kumeyaay scholars and learn about how the work was conceived over 30 years.
Middle and high school students and their families took take part in the annual Dream the Impossible Native Youth Conference, this year held at UC San Diego. The goal is to inspire higher education aspirations and reconnection with Native culture.
UC San Diego's 17th annual Asian and Pacific Islander American Heritage Month Celebration will include a keynote talk by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Manny Crisostomo, a film festival, music performances, lectures and more throughout May.
The campus and local community is invited to support the success of scholars at The Preuss School UC San Diego, a charter middle and high school on the university campus, at the annual Preuss Promise benefit celebration, this year happening on April 28 at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar.
