UC San Diego Health’s Mark Greenberg, MD, and his research team have created the free Rescue Me CPR! app as a tool to help combat the surge of opioid overdoses. The app uses videos, simple instructions and a series of prompts to walk anyone — trained or untrained in CPR — through all the steps necessary to perform basic life support in real time.
