The University of California, San Diego is inviting students from throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties to A Morning with UC San Diego, an event dedicated to educating community college students on the various pathways to transferring to UC San Diego.
Fifteen girls from high schools around San Diego County have been meeting once a week since September to conceive, design, engineer and program a micro-experiment set to be deployed on the International Space Station (ISS) in March 2013. They are building a crystal growth experiment for a microgravity environment.

Students at the University of California, San Diego are spreading the holiday spirit with the annual service project, “Operation Santa.” The campus’s service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, sponsors “Operation Santa” each year to bring holiday joy to families in need throughout San Diego County.
