Obituary Notice: Edward (Jerry) Winterer, Scripps Oceanography Geologist

Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego Emeritus Professor of Geology Edward Litton (Jerry) Winterer, a renowned expert in the study of sediments, died Aug. 30 at his home in Del Mar, Calif. He was 91.
