UC San Diego Women Scientists Featured in Statue Exhibit at the Smithsonian

A few steps away from the delicate pink and white blooms of the Japanese cherry trees in Washington D.C, a striking collection of 120 bright orange statues of women, including the statues of two UC San Diego scientists, are currently on exhibit in the National Mall.
