UC San Diego joins citizens around the globe in grieving those who lost their lives and were injured yesterday in Sri Lanka. On Sunday morning, a series of eight explosions occurred at three churches and three hotels, killing 290 people and injuring 500. Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by these horrific acts of violence in the wake of this devastating terror attack.
All are invited to join in a vigil on Tuesday, Apr. 23 from 7:30 - 8 p.m. at the Silent Tree in front of Geisel Library, hosted by the UC San Diego Sri Lankan Student Association.
