Price Center
Best for group work, late-night study sessions and social study.
- Price Center has open seating and lounges across multiple floors, providing plentiful options for group work. Two bonuses: there are a ton of food options and the building is open 24/7!
- The Commuter Lounge in Price Center East offers a space to plug in, computers, a printer, a kitchen, a Health and Wellness vending machine with free items and lockers for a great daytime base if you live off campus.
- The Cross-Cultural Center on the second floor of Price Center East has a welcoming living‑room vibe with couches and tables. Drop in between classes to read, decompress and connect.
- Centrally located in Price Center Plaza, The Zone has a peaceful ambiance with snacks, wellness goodies and fun de-stress events.
Geisel Library
Best for deep, distraction-free focus or group collaboration.
- In Geisel Library, reserving study rooms, both for yourself or a group, is easy via the library’s booking system, but plan ahead during midterms and finals.
- Hang out on the first and second floors for collaborative work, while the eighth floor offers silent study with great views.
- Amenities are abundant, with printers, scanners, device charging and Audrey’s Café for great coffee and snacks.
Warren Mall
Best for outdoor multitasking, soaking up the sun and people-watching between classes.
- Take advantage of San Diego’s near-flawless weather along Warren Mall, an outdoor study spine. The Wi-Fi is good and the people-watching is even better.
- The shade shifts, and late afternoon can be brightest; bring a cap or move toward building overhangs.
- Pro tip: Take a break by enjoying three nearby Stuart Collection pieces: Snake Path, Bear and Vices and Virtue.
