UC San Diego students showed up in a big way for Spring Break 2024. On a campus with great aspirations and high expectations, taking time to invest in personal well-being and experience San Diego splendors can make all the difference in the last push toward summer.

Curated by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Life for the fourth year running, UC San Diego’s Spring Break programming offered undergraduate and graduate students more than a week’s worth of opportunities to engage, explore and create. Tritons took to the water, cheered on sports teams, filled arenas, stretched body and mind and leaned into their artsy side. All in the name of fun. And because they deserve it.

For students crafting their own spring break, the International Students and Programs Office (ISPO) created a comprehensive guide of free and low-cost things to do in San Diego and surrounding communities.

Here, photos capture how UC San Diego is more than academics. It’s a destination for self-discovery, community building and expression that places students at the heart of all it does.
