Triton Basketball Makes March Madness Debut

After completing the NCAA-mandated four-year reclassification to Division I, UC San Diego's men's and women's basketball teams won their respective Big West championship titles and made their March Madness debut in UC San Diego's first year of eligibility as a Division I program. The teams made history as the first men's and women's basketball teams from the same university to compete in the NCAA Tournament in their first year of postseason eligibility.
