This year’s Watermelon Drop at Revelle College celebrated the milestone 60th anniversary of this cherished tradition. As part of the event, alumni, students and community members gathered to watch as a watermelon was dropped from the top of Urey Hall by one lucky student who was crowned as “Watermelon Royalty.”
