It was a good day to show appreciation for the remaining 1% of wetland habitat in Kendall-Frost Marsh Reserve in Mission Bay, San Diego. Over 1,000 volunteers gathered trash, listened to science talks, helped build Native American traditional boats and helped remove invasive plant species.
