Revive & Survive San Diego aims to save lives by training 1 million San Diegans in hands-only CPR. This initiative is in partner with UC San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science and the County of San Diego Emergency Medical Services.

According to a new study from researchers at the University of California San Diego’s Center for Healthy Eating and Activity Research (CHEAR), self-guided family therapy for obesity could work just as well as traditional approaches at a fraction of the cost.
Researchers at University of California San Diego analyzed cannabis smoking practices in San Diego County to assess whether in-home smoking was associated with cannabis detection in children.
By connecting with local 211 agencies, a UC San Diego-operated quitline was able to reach thousands of low-income tobacco users.
