UC San Diego Welcomes Chancellor-Designate Pradeep K. Khosla

Chancellor-Designate Pradeep Khosla received a warm welcome when he visited UC San Diego May 17, one day after the University of California Board of Regents appointed him as the campus's eighth Chancellor. During a half-hour welcome reception, Khosla was greeted by students, faculty and staff, including current Chancellor Marye Anne Fox.  They presented him with a "Chancellor Survival Kit" which included energy bars, an oversized parking pass and a surfboard emblazoned with the UC San Diego logo.
