Duane Roth

The San Diego community has lost an incredible leader, visionary and entrepreneur. Duane Roth was a tireless champion for San Diego growth, opportunity and prosperity. He had a unique ability to identify opportunities and spark collaborations that have and will continue to improve our world. Duane’s innovation and expertise as an entrepreneur have made the San Diego region and the UC San Diego campus stronger. 

We will miss Duane’s leadership and his friendship. We are deeply saddened but will always be grateful for his service and his many contributions to our campus and the broader community.
