UC San Diego’s presence and impact are felt in our community and around the world – through our education, research, patient care and service – and now they’re being seen too. In support of the “Making Connections” plan to introduce our eighth chancellor, Pradeep K. Khosla, to the campus and community, we’re highlighting images of our impact in local neighborhoods, local media and across the nation.

We’re featuring concrete examples of how our award-winning faculty are inspiring our next generation of leaders, and how our students are applying their classroom lessons to real-world applications. We’re showcasing how our researchers are improving and saving lives, creating new products, launching new companies and making buildings safer. What we do at UC San Diego changes the world.
